This has been bugging me ALOT. At first though it was the chain slapping, removed the derailleur and chain to confirm, but the noise is still there. Stuffed my downtube with towels to make sure it was not the cables rattling, still there. Fixed the exposed cables near the bottom bracket with a Velcro strap but still that clicking sound. It’s not the pedals, removed them to test if the sound would vanish but nah. I just want a quiet bike, but every time I try to get to the bottom of the sound it’s for no good, and the source to the noises remains a mystery.

Could still be cables inside the frame, could also be loose linkage or bad bearings on the shock, I had a similar rattle on mine, caused by the bottom bearings being completely worn out

It’s not the coil spring that’s just a tiny bit too short when the rear shock is completely extended (for example when you lift it up)?

First i wanted to say chainslap😂
But in all seriousness i wouldn’t worry about it, probably just slight wear on all the linkage and everything that’s routed internally or your coil has not enough preload (unlikely)

Edit: if you pick up your back wheel does it have play up and down without the shock being compressed?
