I went from Clermont-Ferrand in the middle of France to Carpentras, near the Mont-Ventoux.
400+ km over 3 days through the via allier, Massif central, Dolce Via and Via Rhona
Quite awesome to see the scenery change as I was heading south, and the temperature was rising quite high on the last day.
The Dolce Via is really an incredible greenway ! An old rail track that goes down in ardeche, following the Eyrieux valley. Going down on it is awesome, 72km of downhill on a mix of light gravel and tarmac (bring up a lot of dust ahah)
Never ridden such long distance and this much elevation on the second day either, it was kinda hard but being able to go such a long way(for me) felt really great !
