  1. no bike is “better”. if it were up to me id choose the di2 spec. and aeroroad vs ultimate comes down to goals.

ultimate will be better for climbs and more comfortable for long days on the bike. aeroroad is better for being in a more aggressive racing position.

both bikes are good. both bikes will be as fast as you can push them

Depends on you. You can’t really compare the Aeroad and the Ultimate, they’re not the same type of bike. And between the two Aeroads… well, it just comes down to whether you prefer Shimano or SRAM..
Personally, I have a CFR with SRAM and I’m really happy with it, but I have also a Bianchi with Shimano and I love it as well aha.
All three are amazing bikes. The geometry of the Ultimate is less aero, so it’s really up to you.

I’ve just ordered an Aeroad CF SLX 7 AXS SPEED. Will replace the cassette and chain set with SRAM Force

Both Aeroads are lighter and faster than Ultimate.

The question is whether you are ready to ride more stretched on Aeroad or want the more upright position of Ultimate.

I find it frustrating that these are 105 bikes but cost 4K+, even if it’s Di2.

I’ve owned an Ultimate and Aeroad and much prefer the Aeroad. It’s fine on big rides and seems to be 1 or 2 mph average faster.

I was in Koblenz and rode the Ultimate and the Aeroad. The Ultimate felt good, and I rode it in the perfect size – they set everything up for me on site. But then he brought out the Aeroad, and I just thought, “damn, this feels even better.” Sure, you’re a bit more in the aero position, but not noticeably more – it’s just that the riding feel is a bit more awesome. „translator I hope you understand what I mean“ 🙂
