The 2025 Voila Spa. Yeah, it’s going to be wild. And Yonas Vingaga is headlining the show. The two-time Turiff France champ is eyeing Spain’s red jersey. And this route, well, it’s built for pure drama. And don’t forget, if you’re in race that was topped by Tatty Pugachar, who unfortunately is not racing in Spain. These two races though, they tell you everything you need to know about who’s peaking, who’s hot, and who’s not. This year, the Vulta Espa kicks off on August 23rd in a totally new way. It starts in Italy. Yes, Italy in Torino with a few flat and hilly stages. I’ll probably run up the Super again and pay my respects up there to the football team. After that trip from Italy through France, we’re back in Spain. Then comes the team time trial and a serious turn uphill. There are 10 summit finishes on the menu. That’s right, 10 chances for the climbers to blow this 2025 Walt Spa apart. The biggest, well, I’d have to say it’s the return of the Alto Anglaroo stage 13. Brutal, steep, legendary. And just before Madrid, we have the Bullet Delmundo stage with cement ramps climbing up to over 2,200 m. Oh, and before we get there, we have the 26 km time trial individual in Valadolid, stage 18, and that could shake up the GC with just three stages to go before Madrid. The fireworks start early in 2025. Stage six in Andor, we got the back-to-back double, Savage Pyreneian days, Anglr, the marquee moment, but that’s not the last. Farapona follows. Then a time trial. And finally, which I mentioned, the Bula Domundo stage on stage 20, the penultimate day. Who’s ever in red won’t sleep easy. Now the spotlight turns over to the DNE. Yonas Vingaga, two-time tour of to France champion. He’s won there. He’s conquered the Alps. He’s conquered the Pyrenees. But the vault spa, it’s always been on his mind. He was close that year with Seep Cus and Primos Raglitch. The red jersey is still missing from his collection for the overall victory. And now with no Tatty Pagachar this year on the start list, this could be his time to own Spain. If you’re in Canada, sign hear from you. I’ll turn it over to you. Let me know your thoughts. Who do you think will win the 2025 Valta Spa? Yonas, Xiaoida, Wanayuso, or someone unexpected? We heard from team Israel, Derek G. Well, he’s going for stages, not the overall classification. I’ll be there on the ground running around vlogs, race reports, everything you want from Spain because this Walt Espña route, well, it’s everything we love about Grand Tours, history, brutality, chaos, all packed into three weeks. So get ready, buckle up. The 2025 Walt despa is going to be unforgettable.

  1. No one is at the level of Jonas,
…Pogi and him are on another planet all together…The others , like Alemeida, Ayuso etc…are great but not total freaks like Pogi and Jonas…not even close
He will win with big time gap on whomever is second

  2. Vuelta should be two weeks. It would be a nice comedown from the Tour, instead of an event so massive, that I'd rather stay away than tune in.

  3. If Jonas stays healthy he’s the obvious favorite with Pogi not in the field. Now that the Tour is over the Vuelta can’t come soon enough!! Looking forward to Flo’s top notch coverage!! Thanks as always!

  4. Aside from the usual in-race risks, each favorite brings their own handicaps, IMO. Jonas just went thru a grueling TdF and "Doing the Double" on this parcours looks heinous. Almeida crashed out of the TdF – that can't help. Primoz DIDN'T crash out, so he hasn't gotten his usual rest (& 3rd weeks are hard for him). Ayuso self-collapsed before…

  5. I hope Visma ride again here as if Pogacar is there like at the TDF; this is guaranteed to destroy the peloton, even if it didn't work at the Tour.

  6. I kinda enjoyed how open the Giro was without Jonas and Tadej. Too bad this will probably not be the case for the Vuelta this year.

  7. How many of the riders in this race were just in the Tour de France? And if there are riders riding in both, HOW do they do that? Don't they need a month to recover?

  8. I remember Chris Horner winning over Nibali with intelligence and cunning… not to mention fitness. Jonas may be highly heralded as a shoe in, but Mr Almeida is both strong and clever.

  9. The one problem that i have whit the vuelta, is that it's spot on the calendar were it should be for the giro and vice versa, is not really a problem whit vuelta, but more on the UCI and ASO

  10. Always loved the Vuelta just because of all the climbing and how savage s many of the climbs are. So much more severe than anything in the Tour. I suspect Vingegaard will win with a massive margin as he is clearly the best climber in the world other than Pog.

  11. This video does not explain why the Vuelta 2025 will be absolute chaos. It just explained that (i) the course is tough with many mountains and a time trial (same as every year), and (ii) the favourites never won it before. I'm hyped to see la Vuelta but this video did not contribute to that.
