So this was the first bikepacking for me and my new bike, a Cube Editor Race FE, with a gates carbon belt and alfine 8-spd rear hub.
It was a lot of fun, I only made it to Östersund which I set out as a goal. The trail continues to Trondheim in Norway.
What went great:
My legs and butt was sore but I felt amazingly good, mentally and physically.
Passed a lot of friendly hikers.
I set out to pedal to Östersund which is not a long way from Selånger for experienced bikers, but it took me 3 days, about 60-80 km/day. If I felt like it was a breeze I would continue to Norway but I called it there and took the train home.
Problems I had:
I packed to much gear and food, and my cheap panniers broke in two places, hammock camping is great but for next time I'll purchase a tent which is a bit simpler to setup.
Too high geared bike/not enough gears, I really really needed a granny gear. Will get a bigger rear "cog" to make it easier on the hills.
Front rack dry bags were too cheap and wore through the fabric on the first day. I mostly had food there so nothing to fragile though. Stay away from the Stoic drybags!
