NBD Endurace AllRoad + Community Size Info

Hey Community!
Ordered my beautiful Canyon Endurace AllRoad in the color Metal Berry last week on July 30 and received it this week on August 5 and it's absolutely beautiful, really love the paint job (looks really authentic on the first image, but it always looks better in real light!), and rides very well. Been riding my beloved fixie (last image) for years now and my brain's like: "What are gears? You tell me I don't have to always pedal? I can go up a mountain? And I have a rear brake?" hahaha.
Did a short 25km tour yesterday with a 250m ascent, riding it on tarmac, forest paths as well as gravel roads and what can I say: it's a capable work horse! Shifting is smooth, brakes work well, comfortable to ride and agile as well!

I'm 185/88 and chose and M!

Also wanted to provide some sizing information, as I didn't have any road-bike reference available myself and did some research and am happy with the choice I made! I'm 185cm tall and have a 88cm inseam and the Canyon PPS put me in between M and L and I ended up choosing M and am also very happy with the choice! Reasons I ended up choosing M over L:

1. The internet said: "when in doubt, rather take the smaller size"
2. I like a more compact position (versus more stretched out through longer reach)
3. I live in a city (Vienna) and a smaller size is a bit more agile, thought that might help maneuvering through traffic
4. The M comes with a 42cm handlebar, the L has a 44cm handlebar and I enjoy the narrower size (my fixie has a 40cm handlebar)

Also crawled reddit here for a bit to see how others have decided with this bike model! Leaving the info here for you all – hopefully it can help someone else make an easier decision as well 🙂
