Hey guys, welcome to day 17 of my Ireland tour. I’m in Dingle and I stayed at a beautiful B&B last night. They served amazing breakfast and had an entire menu to pick from. I also felt like a celebrity because all the staff were hyping me up because I was a girl that cycled here. It was so cute. It was raining again today, so I got on all my rain gear and I got ready to explore Dingle a little. I saw a man walking down the street with a donkey and two dogs, so I had to figure out his story. Turns out he has a documentary about him walking up Ireland with his donkey, but he lives in Dingle now. So, it was nice to talk to him about cycling and all different kinds of travel. Once I said goodbye, I got ice cream from Murphy’s Ice Cream Shop. I got their famous sea salt flavor and I tried the brown bread flavor and walked around a little bit. Today, I’m climbing Connor’s Pass, which is a 420 m climb over 10 km distance. The climb wasn’t that bad because it was more gradual. I think the steepest it got was 7 and 12% and the view on top was unreal. I think this has to be the best view I’ve seen so far on this trip. I had a pastry as a reward and headed back down which was super fun and beautiful. Near the end of the day, I did have to ride on some very busy and bumpy roads for hours and during rush hour. So, I was so happy when I finally made it to town and found a bike lane. But yeah, I headed to a campsite, got things set up, and I went to bed. So yeah, I’ll see you guys tomorrow. Bye.

  1. Watched the movie"Leap Year", it showed beautiful Ireland, but the movie that showed Ireland was " the Quiet Man" with actor's John Wayne, & beautiful Maureen O'Hara!
