Hey!
Here is my first restomod project completed
I picked up a Peugeot hurricane (probably 91 or 92 I'm not sure)
As a first project I wanted to learn how to take a bike apart, and how to put it back together.
I stripped it down to the bearings. And gave it a good clean before beginning to put it back together. I added a lot of new parts: stem adapter, stem, bars, grips, cranks, pedals, saddle, shimano derailler/ v-brakes/levers, cables, housing…
I also put new tyres for the road (continental contact speed.. We'll see how they perform)
I'm very happy with it! First it was a big learning opportunity. Second I love the look of it that I was able to create.
I don't think I've made a major mistake, but it probably isn't perfect, I had a lot of trials and errors in the process (like you're not supposed to tighten the hubs ðŸ¤)
Anyways! Tell me what you think, I'd love to know!

Lovely stuff!
Good job for a first rebuild! Where you could improve:
– Front brake cable is too short, probably not an issue but you’ll get a friction point at the bottom over time.
– I would have done black cables (it makes it more subtle), the frame is the eye catcher in my opinion.
– Put a cap over the crank bolts.
Regardless, really nice bike. My first rebuild was a lot more ghetto!
What’s the rise you have on those handlebars?
Awesome! Love those colors
Hotness!!!
