Hello friends. Day 126 and I was in Worcester this morning. I stayed at the Travel Lodge last night and did indeed eat all I could eat for their breakfast this morning, which stood me in goodstead because I didn’t need to stop for a while. And I’ve come to Tukesbury to meet up with my friend Nigel. And you’re going to meet my friend Nigel shortly. But before that, let me just tell you that I’ve been on the Seven Way all day. And the Seven Way has been pretty good. Lots of nice open fields and good views across the river. and I’ve enjoyed it. I came through Upton upon 7 and got kidnapped at the pub and force-fed cake and cider and met lovely group of people there and we had a lovely long chat about the work that Hope and Homes for Children do. So, I do hope that one of the things that comes out of this walk is that a few people along the route become lifelong devotees to the charity as I’ve been. and hopefully it’s helping to spread the word. Those of you into your numbers might be interested to know that I’ve done just under 2,300 miles so far, which means I’ve only got 320 miles to go. Chris, it’s not a race. Sorry, Nigel. So, let’s have a look at where I’ve been today and I will see you on the trail. Hi. So, I’m Nigel. I’ve been quoted quite a few times in these videos, so I thought I’d turn up and actually use the catchphrase tonight. I’ve known Chris for many years through biking. We used to do lots of tours together, and that’s where the phrase came from. It’s not a race. I’m still biking, but sadly Chris has given up. Uh, but I’ve also bought this um camper van and I’m enjoying off-rid under the radar um touring around with it, spending a lot of time researching places to stay such as this one tonight which is on the path Chris is doing overlooking the river. Very pleasant. Um why did I meet up tonight? Well, it’s the nearest that Chris is going to where I live and um Chukesbury and Glouester look really nice places to explore. So that’s what I’m going to do for the next few days. And remember Chris, it’s not a race. Heat. Heat. Heat. Hey, Heat. There we go. This is going to be my room with a view tonight. Distant view there. And Nigel’s found me a spot just in the corner of this field.
