I’m taking off next week for a 600km trip.
New gear this year: aerobars. I had to rethink my cockpit and storage.
With a friend, we have already made two bridges (out of pvc tubes): one for the light, one for the bike computer.
Now, I’m looking to optimize the cockpit storage.
As you can see, I already attached a food pouch to the bars (to store a 800mL bottle, and use the elastic pocket). It works well.
What can I do next ? Any ideas ? I’d like makeshift/DIY solutions (no more money, and departure is near).
I’m thinking about attaching a second food pouch under the first one, and maybe find a solution to use the space at the back of the handlebars/aerobars.

Put a big black dildo where the light is and go supersonic through a shopping mall. Present us what you caught after.
You can use a saw and cut it shorter if you don’t need that. You have more space for feed bags on the classic spot left and right from the stem.
I would mount the GPS unit in the red circle and mount a bigger saucage roll up front. I’m not convinced I’d enjoy grabbing that bottle where it is currently
Inb4 handlebar mounted racks with arm rests
I mount a fork bag on the aero bars with straps, it holds my spare clothes. It works really well and handles great because it doesn’t weigh a lot. You can mount a feed bag next to it. I can’t find a better picture atm, but it looks like this. You can but a bottle above the bag, the straps hold it in place.
