I just did my first bikepacking trip with the brompton c-line.
While it’s absolutely doable for short to medium distances, I don’t generally recommend it.
The extremely small form factor of the 16”-wheel trifold is great for bikepacking, but the quite heavy weight can’t really be distributed evenly on the bike, resulting in a rear heavy ride which lacks front end control, especially when riding uphill and/or at low speeds.
Probably it would be best to ride it with a trailer, for this use case I can’t think of any better bike (except the lighter t-line of course, when you have the pennies to spare).

Maybe add another c-line in the front basket to balance the bike 🙂
I love it. Kinda looks like the bigger bike is taking the Brompton home to feed to it’s children. How are you liking the saddle on your Brompton? I’ve been eyeing one for awhile!
