While I was doom scrolling my instagram feed full of amazing handmade bikes and artisanal bike products, my partner said to me “imagine if we all created as much as we consume” and it got me thinking… What would be more valuable to me? A pretty bike thing that I spent an embarrassing amount of money on? Or an embarrassing bike thing I spent a petty amount of money on?
