I’m Richard—The Eternal Cyclist. After decades on the road countless Km, I evolved I no longer ride to conquer—I ride to be present.
Last decade I’ve lived from a AZUB recumbent bike. With no fixed plans or final destination. Just a presence—a meditation in motion.
Guided by the Buddhist middle path and Japanese *wabi-sabi*—the beauty of enough, nomadic lifestyle.
Not homeless—my bike is my home.
A hammock for a bed. A stove for meals. Few nessary things.
Most days I get what’s needed , nights I camp wild. Sometimes I travel with others!
I share unfiltered, unedited, unstaged videos— just real roads, moments, life, as the road presents it!
Just the joy of riding through a changing world, one breath, one pedal stroke at a time.

Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] The rain just keeps coming on and off, on and off. It’s getting to the point of Yeah. tiring. So, I’m going to look going back the way I just came a little bit to the city. See if I can re-evaluate and find anything around this. It just keeps coming and coming and coming. The pouring down rain is just getting so heavy. Luckily enough, I’m hiding here, but it’s just I mean, you can barely see across the street. It’s raining that hard. Barely see cars coming up the road. This is not good. So, I got to wait this out a little bit. I can’t even get into my bike right now to get my sweater to get something to stay a little bit warmer in because it’s just raining too hard to get to it. This will be what fools most is when you take photos like this. And there’s not a drop of rain and everything else. Yeah. It’s in between the storms. If you look around, you can see everywhere around me is storms. They come, they pass through, piss on you. All right. Slept in a little bit this morning. Hammock is here in the forest. Hey. Uh because it was raining early this morning again. So, but hopefully the rain looks like it’s turned. So, once I get back towards Poland, I should have a lot less rain by the looks of the stuff. Well, it all depends on mother nature. It keeps changing on me. But at least here in Latavia, I can find some forest places to sleep. It’s okay. One thing I got to do is start learning to take more of the joy of riding. A little less worried about the weather, the other stuff. So long as you got a nice place to camp, everything else it’s all good. It’s a quick comparison to Poland. A spread, the beans, the water, and a bread. €5. Yeah, more expensive than Poland. Big giggle a lot of times is we read the weather map and it says, “Okay, tomorrow it’s supposed to be this, that, and the next.” Well, as you see, the clouds are still around me. So much for clear weather. So much for clearing up. Storm changed directions again. I moved over to the left, changes everything around. So, one never knows. Weather reports give you kind of clue. Maybe a break in the storm. Maybe. Okay, a car just stopped me. Gave me some water and a little gift or two. Uh, nice scenery here. Looks like maybe they’re going to bring me luck and I’m going avoid the rain. Some days you get lucky. You get beautiful scenery and you ride between the raindrops, as they say, so to speak. The rain is over there. I haven’t got there yet. We’ll get there and hopefully it’ll pass by the time I get there. Well, looks like I caught up to it. It’s going to come across. It’s coming across everywhere. So, I got to ride through it. So, about the next 3 hours, it’s going to be pissing down rain by the looks of it. So, I may as well get my jacket on now, get close to the border again, and I’ll take this route around. Okay, I’ve caught up with the rain again. The whole point here is to try to punch through this and come out the other side tomorrow with supposedly less rain or more rain. We never know. Well, sometimes between the rains you do get these nice, beautiful views, but still it’s been raining on and off and it’s going to rain again. Should be getting to the killing grab lake here in a few. the fence line right there. That’s the Russian Federation or Russia. And over here looks like there’s a little place to have lunch. Probably would be okay camping if it wasn’t pissing down rain. Oops. That side over there is the lake and Russia’s over there. So, you see some houses there. But yeah, this is a camp spot. Free, but basically, yeah, I’ll look for something better. All right, a lake view. Hammock is set up. It won’t fit underneath the shelter. It probably would, but it’s not good. But I can park the bike there. Do my cooking. My dinner’s going on. I did my wash. use the laundry thing to get some water from the river and then wash my clothes and hang them up to dry a little bit hopefully with this weather. At least it stopped raining for now. But we’ll see how it goes tonight. Well, in the woods here after camping and I head out. Should be back in Poland soon. Weather’s been nasty, cold. As you see, I’m well well dressed. Just been getting extremely cold these days with all these storms coming through. So hopefully it’ll get warmer. Cold ass summer. This area reminds me of the old west. Old western and old style homes. No photo of crossing the border because both ends uh border patrol with machine guns at both ends. All due to the heightened stuff from this still Ukraine war going on and that is Russia. So, it’s a little bit heightened, but we’re past the border again. We’re into Poland. So, we’ll go from here. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe.
