you’re right. on many bikes the little tab that holds the derailleur is replaceable. on yours it isn’t. happy new bike day. maybe you’ll be able to get one with a replaceable derailleur hanger now 🙂
Sorry, your frame is trashed. That is called a derailleur hanger, a better quality bike will have a replaceable one. This is what you’ll want to look for in a replacement bike.
I wonder if you could find a claw mount hanger.

That’s exactly why I always buy a second hanger every time I buy a bike. Waiting on a new one can be a bitch, it’s frustrating if a cheap part is what’s keeping you from riding your bike. Bikes with a non-replaceable one are a no go for me.
I wonder if you can find a universal hanger that works for you?
You can probably find a better used bike for 100-150.
These Rockriders ST100’s are luckily not too expensive to start with, and can be found quite cheaply second hand, if you wish to replace :). I hope you were not hurt in the process!
