You do you. Just make sure that you have the correct crown race on your new fork.

Make sure the axle to crown measurement is similar between the two forks and you’re good to go.

Ideally, when measuring the A-C on the suspension fork, account for sag. In other words, measure the A-C distance the suspension fork would have when you are sitting on the bike.

  3. I can’t help, but I gotta ask how are you liking those tires? I just ordered the same ones.

  4. As another user mentioned, measure your axle-to-crown of your current fork to see if it’s similar the Troll fork’s. The troll fork is not suspension corrected, so I am guessing that it will be noticeable shorter than your current fork. Shorter forks will steepen your head tube angle and drop your bottom bracket closer to the ground. This will affect the handling of your bike. Once you have the a-to-c measurements of both forks, you should be able to find (via Google) some general rules of thumb for how much each centimeter difference in a-to-c length will affect geometry angles and bb height.
