I’m looking to get a road styled e-bike for commuting. 12 miles per day, but I have to ride up a 13% grade hill for a mile on the way home. Is it worth it to get mid drive? I can’t afford a new mid drive like the Turbo Creo or Domane+.

Orbea is nice. If it has Carbon wheels its worth 1700. If not probably $1200
Lol I was just looking at the Orbea last night for a friend. He tried out my Yamaha Crosscore RC and he was hooked on mid drive.
As for mid drive and hills that is what it is made for. I ride up 15-22% grade hills on my commute and barely break a sweat. Get a mid drive.
I have also tried hub drives and they suck when I tried to start pedaling in the middle of a hill. Mid drive feels the most smooth and natural.
