Most legal systems do not require an accused to tell only the truth in order to assist to their sentencing. Quite the opposite: an accused is allowed to lie! It‘s upon prosecution to establish the truth.

LOL that’s where the wheels come off. I don’t think there’s anyone on a bike passes cars on the left so that they can make a right at a stop.
