Wheel and tire set were stock on my Checkpoint SL5. I upgraded the checkpoint so needed to do something with this wheelset. Found some hub end caps to make them work with the quick release on the Verve. Handlebars are too narrow stock so switched out to Satori Falcon 740mm. Saddle switched to Brooks Cambium C17. The bike in stock form is just so slow, you really have to put a lot of power in to make it move quickly. This wheelset cut off a few pounds of rotational mass making it quicker to pick up speed. The wider bars and narrower seat allow for more responsive handling. Extra bits include the Thule adapters for kids’ seats (front and back) and the holder for my folding lock.

Wow! That’s a stunner! ❤️ Great job with the modifications. I prefer flat bars to drop bars anyday. Hence, this conversion makes so much sense to me.
