
Received this email today. Does anybody have experience with this, and knows that the request is legitimate?
I recently bought a Canyon and Canadian import duties were much higher than expected. The Canyon invoice had the goods listed as non-EU Preferential which appears to be a change from previous practices.
Has any body else received this?

I was charged duty on my endurance cf 8 in Canada and the website had it showing that there would be no duty but Canyon told me the website is for reference and not always accurate
Scam. Easy.
Canada-Germany have a free trade agreement. We don’t pay duty but we do have to pay taxes.
Update: I also received a call from the Canyon Service Center number and they left a voicemail similar to the email.
Canyon’s support chat confirmed that the email it was received from info@canyon.com is their support email and it was verified on Gmail.
