Most likely means the bottom bracket isn’t seated straight.
Mate, check your sprocket. Might be your sprocket bolt being loose or your sprocket adapter not in place making your sprocket to wobble and tighten/untighten the chain.
P.S. I’m a fellow Cult owner and when I ran the cranks from the complete I never had that issue (I’ve switched my cranks at the end of June, currently running a set of 2.5pc Fiend Team Cranks)
Your chainring isn’t a perfect circle. If you can’t replace it take it off and turn it so that the tighter section lines up when you set your pedals for tricks etc. either right or left foot forward
Common issue with stamped chainrings or easily fixable by loosening up your chainring screw, pedaling and tightening it
Misaligned sprocket.
Strip down, remove the cranks, check the bearings are okay.
Check to see if the sprocket it still perfectly flat. Stick it on a flat surface… window glass is good, and check to see if it sits flat or if it has a curve.
If it isn’t perfectly flat its time for a new sprocket. Also check for bent teeth while it’s easy to see it up close.
Then reinstall the cranks, tighten everything up.
It should resolve itself.
One thing to check… is it a 19mm sprocket on a 19mm spindle, or is a 22mm on a 19mm with a top hat spacer? Because sometimes with those top hat spacers a bit of grot can get in there and the sprocket sits at an awkward angle.
