    These arn’t similar bikes or the same size. Learn about bike sizing then ask again. You didn’t even tell us your use case.

    If you’re okay with a hybrid bike then the Liv could be okay, don’t know how the spec compared to new hybrids you could get around that sort of price.

    If you want to go on longer, hour+ rides then drop bars can definitely help. If you can’t find much in your size second hand, you could look into something from Decathlon maybe. Around this price point, Triban RC120 Disc or GRVL 120 if you can get some info about when they might be back in stock.

    As other users have been hinting at, sizing is really the most important thing on a bike – doubly so for a road bike. The last thing you want is to be stuck with a bike that’s too big.
