  1. the bulge is the outer casing becoming separated from the inner casing and radial (all that fabric).

I would start with dismounting the tire enough to inspect the bulge from the inside to see if it’s a remarkable hole in the casing that can be plugged so air doesn’t get to the outer casing.

If you have any sort of patch to put in the inside, or a boot, then maybe you can keep air from getting to that pocket. Might be a better temporary ride than having zip ties on the outside….but that thing is going to blow very soon or possibly get larger the more you ride it to the point where the bulge won’t allow the tire to rotate past the fork or frame.

No zip ties? What about a bandana you can wrap and tie? Paracord? anything

Good luck to you, that tire is DONE and needs to be replaced ASAP.

I never got these bacons to work. Last time I used 5 bacons on a hole and ended Up replacing the tire. Same with my friends. Fyi it was on road bike tires. Schwalbe pro one. For the Schwalbe Gravel tires I never Had to use them. When the tires wear out, I replace them.
