How was the Ontario section? I love northern Ontario but biking has always seemed too risky for me up that way.

How was traffic? I’m very familiar with the Eastern shore and Highway 17 from the Soo to Lake Superior Provincial Park. It doesn’t seem like an ideal stretch of road for biking but sure is pretty!
I grew up in Ashland Wisconsin, a small town on Chequamegon Bay, on the south shore of Lake Superior. US Highway 2 goes right through there. I am jealous of your journey…
