It’s 9 o’clock in Prague right now. We’re leaving Prague today. We’ll cross into Germany from here, God willing. We’ll go to Munich, Germany. Hope to see you in Munich, God willing. [Music] We’ve left Prague. We’re on the bus right now. We’re continuing towards Munich . I think our journey will take about 4 hours. We got on the FilixBus bus again. The journey will continue like this, God willing . [Music] We’ve arrived at the German border. They just went through passport control. Now we’re continuing. [Music] We’ve arrived in Munich. We got off that bus. Filixbus. I think it’s quite famous in Europe. Now let’s go towards our accommodation, God willing. This is where we got off the bus. There’s a building like this. Six train stations are like this. We’ll cross this bridge, right? We’ll take the metro from here. Then we’ll cross. Actually, our accommodation is close by. It’s just one stop. Even bicycles passed by when the light turned green. This is what it looks like from where we’re staying . We’re walking through Munich train station right now. There’s a big crowd and many train lines. When I turn it towards the opposite side, there are probably 1 2 3 4 5 6 7, maybe 10 or so . I mean, in European countries, the rail systems are very developed. It’s a huge place, but it’s very crowded. Where are we going? Everyone’s going from here. Everyone’s going from here. We’ll go from here. The town hall. That particular one is called the Marian Pret town hall . Yes. The clock on that one has a special feature. Is that right? These clocks move at the top of the hour, but we’re a little late right now. We’ll catch up next time. Oh, well, there was a show or something. The 12 apostles. This isn’t that, but this one has puppets that turn like that. Now I’m wondering why there would be such a show in this town hall? They’re showing something else there, too . I get it. The town hall is a really magnificent building. Its name is Peterplatz. That’s Frauenplatz. That’s Peter Platz. Is that right? Which one is the other one? You can see the two towers over there. Oh. Yes. This is probably one of the most famous places in Munich. We’ll be staying in Germany for a day. That’s all in one day. We arrived around 2:00 in the afternoon. We arrived at our accommodation around 3:00. It was a good time to leave at this hour, since the weather was hot anyway . It’s probably past 5:00 now. Peterplatz , like other European cities, is very crowded. The transportation system , in particular, is very complex. There’s a rail system everywhere. There are high-speed trains, cities, high-speed trains are one thing, and the metro system is another, but the metro system has so many stations, I mean, there are probably nine or ten floors down. I mean, it’s so advanced that I ‘ve heard of the Paris metro. It’s very complex and multi-story, but this one is probably even more advanced. But after seeing the transportation systems here, let me say this about our country . I live in Konya. I live in Konya . There’s only one tram line in Konya . When we consider Turkey in general, there are similar things in many places. You know, in Turkey, it takes a very long time to catch up with the transportation level and development in Europe. You know, we say, “What’s in Europe?” They’re economically advanced, but I also saw that they’re far ahead of us in terms of morality, culture, respect, and courtesy . This might be a bit of a nagging criticism on our part, but that’s the way things are. I have to say this, too. Yes, cycling is also very common. There are bike paths on almost every street. They follow the traffic lights just like vehicles and pedestrians . There’s absolutely no traffic violations. In fact, they don’t even cut in front of each other. That caught my attention. This place was used as a cattle market from the Middle Ages until the end of the 19th century. It’s right next to the town hall, known as Marienplatz. It’s like this… It used to be a food market for over 200 years . But now, we’re a little late. closed. There are some open places over there. Let me take a look, come on. There are souvenirs here. There are beautiful flowers, though. There are even sunflower seeds. 12.5 euros. So, as far as I understand, there are local products . Yes. Ask Ayşe, how much is it? How much is this bread? They have apple chips here too. 120 grams are 5.5 euros. Yes. Hello. How much are cherries? 18.95. The prices are like that. Prices change like 11.95 to 6.50. Those are the prices for 6.95 . This is Marienplatz, the old town square , right around the old town hall . [Music] Thank you guys. [Music] [Music] We continue walking in Munich. Munich’s streets and avenues are like this, we finally got to see Munich. Our goal is to travel to other European countries. Well, before this, we saw Vienna, Austria, and Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic . I say, I hope we will have the chance to visit other countries too . In fact, Central Asia and the Far East, if we are lucky, may God grant us the opportunity to visit those places as well. Right? At least say an amen, I mean, even if there is not much hope… It is a gigantic structure. This is the most famous cathedral in Munich. [Music ] The entrance to the church is right here. Let’s see if it’s open. [Music ] The Church of Our Lady is a church with Gothic architecture built in the 15th century. It was damaged in World War II. But it was later restored to its original state. [Music] [Music] Friends, this church is also called the women’s church. There is a legend that there is the devil’s footprint here. While he was building this place with the devil, the devil couldn’t see the window and made his footprint, and it was left. They say so. I don’t know if it’s true. There is a shopping mall called Galeria in Germany. It is in the very center of Germany. Let’s visit here. There is Seko, Ayşe. Seko’s prices are 50 euros, 490 euros. The prices are around here. It is nice. Yes. They have women’s watches here too. They also have pocket watches. They used to be very popular. My grandfather had one. A pocket watch. Prices are in euros. 149 euros. Prices are like that. Yes. Unfortunately, there were no electronics in the Galerie. We went out too. There’s mostly clothing, beauty products, accessories, and other things like glasses, bags. We’re leaving right now. We ‘re fed up with walking down. Now we’ll take the subway again. There’s the largest park in Munich. We’ll go there, hopefully. We took the U6 subway from Marienplatz. We got off here. The buildings here are as we see them now. Come this way, come that way. That’s the bike path. You shouldn’t take up bike paths. Well, the buildings are like a painting. I took a picture to show the buildings, to be honest. I turned on the camera. Yes. And cycling is very common in this country. There’s a lot of bike traffic, just like car traffic. You can tell from the bikes around. Cyclists are waiting like that too. When the light turns green on bikes, they walk like this. Let’s go too. Everything is subject to the rules. We’re walking towards Munich Park. Was it called the English Garden? English Garden. As we can see, the lift is very extensive. The administrators of this place planned this extensively . They thought about the future 100, 200, 300 years from now. Well, it’s said that these roads were built by a German leader, which is still a hot topic of debate . There’s a university building right next to these roads, the English Garden. LMU for short. I think that’s part of the university. It could be the library up there. The metro comes from inside the university building. Is that right? So, the guys built it, they said, so the young people wouldn’t get tired. This monument we see is a memorial to victory. It was built to commemorate the victory of the Bavarian army in the Napoleonic Wars . It’s like this all around. The surrounding area is very green. It caught my attention as I was walking down the street. On the street . There are more bicycles than cars in front of the houses. Bicycles everywhere. We’re in the park now. English Garden, it’s called the English Garden. Well, it’s said to be a place bigger than Central Park in New York. And an amazing stream flowing through it. It’s great. Let’s take a picture from a distance. I don’t want to show too much. People also go swimming in the water here. As far as I understand, it’s a natural water park. It’s like a summer camp. The trees are so big. These trees are 150, 200 years old. Maybe more. Why is it called an English Garden? It’s an example of English gardening and landscape architecture. That ‘s why it’s called an English Garden. [Music] You can do many activities here. So what were there, Ayşe ? There were other things here as well. Is there a slide or something? What was it? Well, they were rafting. There’s such fast water. I get it. I think that’s a small part. There’s probably a bigger one. I get it, young people do different games and activities. They play volleyball here too . There’s a university nearby called LMU. University students can come and relax here. It’s a really nice place to do various activities and events . The trees are magnificent, too. The sun is about to set here right now . I think it’s past 8:00, right? It’s 9:00 now. The weather is so sweet. The evening chill has set in just now. It’s amazing. The young people have come by bike too. It’s so beautiful. I love it. Now, what caught my attention here is this: Everyone is picnicking , eating, and drinking here. But there are no barbecues. There’s not a shred of smoke coming from anywhere. There’s no smoke. They’ve even put their garbage in nicely packaged bags . Yes, that’s right. The garbage is thrown here too. Exactly. Exactly. We sat by this beautiful stream in the English Garden. We’re resting for a bit. We won’t be there long. Well, after we rest a bit, we’ll go. We’ll have something to eat. There are even ducks. Friends, in Germany, there are Turkish shops everywhere around here. Right across from us is Güney Kuyumcu. There’s Antep table here. There’s a Çavuşoğlu market here . Let’s look at the prices at a Çavuşoğlu store. Watermelon is 1.49. Bananas are 0.99 . Garlic is 7.99. Grapes are 6.99, lemon and salt. Cherries are 7.99, plums are 13.99, pears are 4.99, cucumbers are 0.99, this 3.99 is a little fresher, I think. Eggplant is 3.49, green beans are 4.99. [Music] How much are tomatoes? Tomatoes are 1.49. They also have them here for 9, for 2 euros. Those are the prices too. This one is called Mevlana Strez again. I think they have pita-like things here too. They have grilled things. There are Turks everywhere. I came to a Turkish restaurant that calls home cooking home cooking. They have soups, meat dishes, fish, a lot of things here. They also have döner. There are desserts. The prices of our Turkish desserts are also listed here. Brother, get me a bowl of soup. Which one is lentil? These, brother. Lentils. We’ll eat it here. Oh, we’ll eat it here. What else? We also want a börek, brother. Which börek ? That one, brother. We’d like some tea, too. Thanks. What’s your name, brother? Mine. What’s your name? Mine? Yes
…… Where from? From Turkey. From where in Turkey? Mardin. Are you from Mardin? Oh. You’ve been here for a long time, then. Yes. How are things, brother? Good in Germany. Let’s say God bless you, God willing. Maşallah. We’re happy to find a place like this, too. Thank you. Thank you. No. Did it cost 14.30? I pressed it, you pressed it. Your card, it didn’t work. Press it again. Didn’t it work? Wait a little now. Hold it like that for a long time, hold it like this, let it go. What? Your card doesn’t work. God, God. Make yours something or should I pay you cash? My sister makes gözleme. What do you usually make gözleme with, sister? Potatoes, spinach. They have it all upon request. We’re a little late. It’s not on the sheet right now. Have you been here long? It’s been 15 years. Maşallah. Allahu akbar. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. We’re having breakfast in Germany. I’m so happy. I’ve had tea for the first time in five days. Besides that, I had lentil soup for breakfast . I love soup. And I wanted something liquid to go with it. We also bought a pastry like this. We have tea in Germany. What more could we ask for? This is a Turkish restaurant. We sip our tea at a Turkish restaurant. We choose what to pay with. Yes. We want to pay with a card. 28.60 euros is a good amount for Turkey. Let’s see, sometimes there are problems with the card. Do you ask for a receipt? Yes. My card didn’t accept it. I don’t know why, but here are our tickets. We’re at the Hauptbahnhof station right now. From here, we’ll take the S1 or S8 subway. You have to take the one marked gleis 2. I found an empty seat for the first time. We’ll sit with our bags. Take it, take it. There’s still more. Okay, we’ll leave. The airport journey has begun. The bag is hurting my back. It was a real strain on me. My one-day trip to Munich, Germany, has come to an end. It went by so quickly. I really couldn’t understand how it happened. Look, they say you can also buy bicycles. There’s a bicycle sign on it. You see that, right? It shows how much they value bicycles. Well, I haven’t seen such heavy, excessive traffic here. I haven’t seen it in Germany. Well, it’s interesting, maybe because public transportation is so widespread. Then people ride bikes, scooters, electric bikes , and so on. Maybe that’s why. I also haven’t seen such an extreme concentration of motorcycles. For example, in some places in our big country, there’s an extreme concentration of motorcycles. There’s something similar in the Far East, too. There’s such chaos. I didn’t see that here either. I don’t know. Germany has become one of my favorite places. In terms of the system, the business side of things. It’s beautiful. Look at all that greenery. It’s wonderful. [Music] München Munich Airport. Now, there are two separate terminals here. And the terminals have separate areas. Well, because there are flights to so many destinations, there’s a very large table here. Does it say PC? PC 1022 Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen. Zone B is the check-in area. This is between Terminals 1A and E. Yes. Yes. Goodbye Munich . We’ll actually check in. We’ve already checked in, but we’ll get a boarding pass. Do we need a boarding pass? I don’t know about that either, but. We’ll go through the first checkpoint. They’ve made us throw everything away. They left nothing. We’ll see. So, are you having a hard time? There’s no deodorant this big. Passport control was so difficult that we waited in line for about an hour. We passed in seconds. If we’d waited even 5 minutes, our flight would have been missed. I don’t know. I can’t think about what happened next. I’m so nervous. Even though we arrived very early, I think we arrived around 12:50, if I remember correctly. There’s a 16:15 flight. Despite that, we were bound to be late. Hopefully, we’ll board our plane soon. So, let’s say goodbye here. Take care. See you in another video. God bless you. [Music]
