there and it fails to appear at the roundabout trap as well Sam and Dan stay mobile circling the suspect’s home we almost want to sit so we’re we can pull out behind it rather than having to turn yeah bag of what we suspect this cannabis on route to custody Dan breaks the news to the driver that his stash has been found so it’s 12:58 I’m further arresting you on suspicion of possession of cannabis class V drug with intent to supply the Cannabis recovered in the back of that car equates about kilon and a half so we’re looking at probably something in the region of seven seven and a half maybe 8,000 worth due to the large quantity of drugs found combined with the suspect’s dangerous Drive-In Sergeant Moon authorizes a drug wipe so make a requirement of you under Section 5A of the road traff to provide to me a sample of saliva for drug analysis will you provide me with a S surviva one more time f [Music] the drug wipe contest for the illegal narcotics cannabis and cocaine thank you and both cocaine and cannabis it’s a really good result we’ve looked for this vehicle numerous occasions and been been unsuccessful and uh yeah it’s really good to get him with the driving offenses as well as the drugs he didn’t want to be found in possession of all that and uh just uh thankful Dan had his running boots on today and managed to catch him the suspect’s day is turning into a total disaster Sergeant Moon makes another find in the car got another phone in here where uh in that rear thing down here the discovery of what looks like a burner phone for dealing opens up a whole new line of inquiry for the Sentinels at the suspect’s address so we sought authorities had search that house in which was granted and we went to search there to find anything that might support the case we’ll go on to the house and do the house as well yeah the Sentinels now have grounds to search a property linked to the suspect just open the door so and talk to you but they’re not exactly welcome with open arms I’m sorry but we’re in control here I know understand but my mom has a right as well she someone there if we’re allowed to do that as well you’re not cuz we won’t be to keep you’re Intel it looks like it’s now about to be turning onto Hatfield Road we hit their mobile camera Sam Maples and Sophie Mitchell in 82 are close by and set off to provide backup and it’ll be right here caminas remnants uh and speaking to the driver he previously smoked cannabis um so what we’ve done is we’ve requested a specimen surver so we just done a drw water with him we’re now just awaiting the result of that after an 8 minute wait in the rain so you’re soaked yeah we all are the results are in and it appears that the Cannabis is a red herring um has come back has been positive for cocaine okay so I’m arres you on susp of being over the just listen to my colleague sorry over the prescrib limit um driving all right didn’t have to say anything may have difference not mention when question something and elements understand that necessary so we can take you to uh the pick or custody and do a blood test with you evidential blood test all right control One driver tested positive for cocaine he’s been arrested take up to the pi yes I see this kind of arrest is crucial to the way the Sentinels operate drug driving is always a really good disruption especially when we’re going after the criminals that we think are involved in like drug Supply so the search of the vehicle hasn’t doesn’t come up with anything today but through this route we’ll hopefully be able to get his driving license taken away from him and um disrupt his criminality a good result for a stop that required an element of good luck sometimes you can be having a day where you’re just chasing your tail all day going after people not having a lot of luck and then you can be on route to something else and then one from earlier will just crawl right past you and it falls into your lap as it was but yeah luck I think can play into this quite a lot sometimes so good Fortune for the Sentinels but this driver still can’t believe his bad luck for testing positive for cocaine what do you think I been my system evening yeah yesterday evening I’m being told I didn’t realize it was quite so new to you Sophie makes a discovery there is insurance on the van but it only applies if the vehicle has been bought legitimately so as long as we can bot them out receipt proof of purchase then they’re happy to cover lovely um we’ll Bott them out that proof of ownership and then we’ll go from there bye bye the insurance company have said um the only way that they’ll cover you is if you can provide proof of receipt of purchase of the vehicle speaking that matter aside right the insurance company have stated that they will cover you yeah on the provision that you can provide us at the roadside with the proof of Pur I hav’t got with well who so the owner the policy holder obvious the driver calls his boss right I’ve got the police officers here obviously they a bit that I’ve got insurance you probably thought I didn’t but I have and now they’re telling me that you my insurance state that I have insurance I’m covered but they’re telling me that you want proof of this vehicle being bought just need the receipt that’s all we need the boss wants to talk to Sophie about proof of purchase ask you a question have you got a red on you for the TR that you head on your seat sorry have you got a receipt for the pumps that you you’re wear have you got a receipt for the trainers that you’re wearing on your feet uh I’m not going to get involved silly Petty arguments with you at the end of the day if we can’t if we can’t be provided with a receipt or proof of purchase this vehicle I’ll call back the insurance company if they then State it’ll be down to them then won’t it if they then state that they’re not going to cover you then we’ll seize the vehicle as simple as you your best I’m not you in possession of the V5 or the tear out of the V5 and there’s no receipt or invoice then I can’t from cover it’s bad news for the driver and his vehicle seon I can’t confirm cover all I can advise you is we will confirm cover subject to proof ownership iook or receip exactly and I’ve explained that then he cannot provide that to us at the roadside so we will be seizing the vehicle section 165 of the Road Traffic act no problem all okay so let him make that call for him to then hear the words from his own insurance broker um just silenced him the vehicle is off to the police pound there’s your Simons and PC Danny Mor 91 where are you the two cars must keep in close communication to try to find their elusive targets we’re normon drive by the old speed camera and we’ve done the whole of normon drive from some pet Street roundabout no Trace no Trace that’s not the one no Trace um the other end of or um even with both cars on the hunt the suspect Ford Focus is nowhere to be seen it’s really frustrating when you can’t find something and you are out looking for it and you kind of know what direction it’s gone you’re driving up and down roads it definitely feels like you’re looking for a needle in the Hy stack at the moment there’s no trace of it but the area it’s in it could have disappeared anywhere down a variety of turns just when the car looks to have escaped the Sentinels it activates another camera we just passed where it should have hit so hopefully we’re not far behind it I think it’s up yeah there is a blue one up there there they found the car and not a moment too soon using the incar computer Jess has discovered there’s possibly more to this than a disqualified driver the driver has been arrested before for driving without a licence no insurance a positive drug swipe um and also in possession of drugs yeah we’re behind it now it’s free up with three occupants in the car they trying to stop him Jess and Mark could use assistance from Lee and Danny yeah expecting it because you just don’t get randomly disqualified by the dvla or the courts weather is aware of his disqualification or not the driver is arrested do c you at the moment cuz you’re going
