I’ve seen a lot of comments saying “the lions are being abused” and stuff, so just for the record: many zoos take in animals from the wild because they are unfit to be released (like an injury that makes it impossible to hunt, or being too normalized to humans). For the people who are saying “the lion looks sad” “thats the saddest lion I’ve ever seen” “they look hungry not happy. They are being starved”, are you expecting the lion to smile or smth? Just because the lion is hungry doesnt mean it’s being starved or abused. And yes, some horrible zoos abused or starve animals, but just because some do, doesnt mean they all do. A lot of zoos make a positive impact on wild life and the environment and treat their animals very well (coming from someone who has worked at a popular zoo). Maybe dont jump to crazy assumptions based on a 60 second clip?

Zoos are horrible animal abuse. Taking kids to zoos just encourages children to be okay with animal abuse. So does eating meat and dairy. Being vegan is the least we can do for the animals.
