Did the same….. And only use a Wahoo mount, never a garmin. I broke the mount on the back of my Roam and had to glue a new mount to it.

Did the same. Used a screw driver, stuck it in and tried to turn the mount wahoo out of the mount again. Takes strength tho

Pin spanner or bent nose pliers. Stick them into the two mounting holes (or with the bent nose pliers, into the slots if you prefer) and turn.
If you don’t have either, you could make a makeshift pin spanner by drilling two screws through a piece of wood, with spacing to match the mounting holes.

you could try putting a rubber band around it to help get a good grip on it.

JFC Man how have you survived to this point xD
You need to hold the plastic bit firmly and twist.
You can use pliers, yes they fit, grab the rim of the mount. If needlenose pliers then open them up slightly and place them into two widest holes on the mount and twist.
If it will not twist then you need to use a screwdriver or two and gently lift up the tabs that click the mount into place to release it.
Worst case you can just sacrifice this part by snapping it off carefully but you have to be extremely cautious so as not to damage the actual mount on the wahoo.

Wide needle nose pliers or a smooth channel locks. If you use channel locks with a rigid jaw, use a paper towel of sorts over it so you don’t marr up the plastic.
I’ve been in the same position. Needle nose is the best way. Ive also used two small screwdrivers, downward force, and counter turning them.

Is that 3M sticky? Use dental floss or braided fishing line to slowly cut through the adhesive. That’s how you remove car emblems.
Small screwdriver to lightly pry up one locking tabs at a time while you apply pressure to turn it. It’ll pop right off. May need have to go back and forth between the tabs a couple times but it should come off easily.

If you have those can grippers with rubber sides, I’ve used it for my Tubeless valve stem that was on too tight. Something like this: [https://www.amazon.com/Jar-Opener-Gripper-Seniors-Arthritis/dp/B08P7BJ6ZC/ref=sr_1_1_sspa](https://www.amazon.com/Jar-Opener-Gripper-Seniors-Arthritis/dp/B08P7BJ6ZC/ref=sr_1_1_sspa)
Snap Ring Pliers would probably work perfectly for this moment. Put them in the screw holes and gently squeeze and turn.
