Ridley bike description:

  • Always kept indoors.
  • like new. Pedals are recycled and ugly and would come as courtesy pedals.
  • byicyle bolts are currently being replaced to be carbon to make the bike lighter and avoid rust (hence the wholes in the pictures).
  • used very little due to unexpected back problems.

N.B.: A full carbon (good quality) bike in Shimano 105 will cost you about 2800$ today. This is a steal.

Description

Ride any route for any distance. Mellow morning group rides and high tempo solo sessions are yours to experience on the Liz C50. Its full carbon frame strikes a beautiful balance of sprint-ready performance with endurance-focused support. Stiff and light, it far surpasses what you'd expect in an entry level carbon frame. And the stoic Shimano 105 groupset is a favourite in the road world, combining race-calibre design in a more durable package. It's a brilliant bike for competitive riders as a go-to training rig, but it also delights roadies searching for that first faithful bike to taste it all. This sporty road machine revels in fondos and charity rides. It's all purpose and all performance, and it's ready to spin whenever you are.

Hey OP I am in your area and saw both of them this morning. My opinion is that both are overpriced. If you are able to wait until fall, prices will drop quite a lot. At these prices you can get something better new. I will tell you the market rn in Ottawa is inflated but they don’t sell so if they REALLY interest you save them and wait.

  2. Both bikes are very overpriced. If you are looking for something around the $2,000 price range, you could land on something brand new with modern components (ie. hydraulic disc brakes). Something like the [Giant Contend AR 2](https://www.giant-bicycles.com/ca/contend-ar-2) would be a way better buy, or waiting for the pending end of season sales.

  3. $2k in the first one 💀
    Wildly overpriced.

I just bough a brand new carbon Cervelo Caledonia with 105 di2 for $2400 usd. Universal cycles may still have some.

The whole bike industry is oversupplied and there are insane sales going into fall. You owe it to yourself to keep looking.
