Van Gogh painted over 300 art pieces within 15 months in this French city. It is said that the light in Arles inspired him to paint some of his most beautiful paintings right in this city.

Here are the locations of the actual painting inspirations in order of appearance:
1. Starry Night Over The Rhône (Chemin de Segonnaux)
2. Café Terrace at Night (11 Place du Forum)
3. Le Jardin de l’Hotel de Dieu (L’Espace Van Gogh)
4. Entrance to the Public Gardens in Arles (Jardin d’été)

  1. I LITERALLY ARRIVED IN ARLES 20IN AGO. I'm sitting in my hotel room, and this video pops up out of nowhere. Remember, im not an artist nor have I looked up Vincent van Gogh, so there is no reason for this to appear. YouTube is stalking you, guys.

  2. Beautiful and just amazing to me to see the actual spots that such iconic paintings were inspired. Love this stuff
