Im technically new in bicycle community. I’ve beeb riding fixie for years before the pandemic and i know a but or two about bicycle. Its basically my other part of life but i never knew that choosing a fixie frame could be this daunting.
After pandemic i trashed my bike thinking i never gonna ride it again. But seeing fixie community slowly rising back again after pandemic making me fomo. I look for so much branded frame like tsunami, shukaku, BXT, and even TREK. Of course those bike are not cheap but tsunami second hand price is well in my budget. But i have a dilemma about buying unbranded frame or just go all out with tsunami or even shukaku though i prefer tsunami (look cool and all the kid have it🤓). Pls let me know if it worth it to buy the tsunami or just this unbranded one

I’d take the tsunami, though i might be abit biased because I owned one but, over all that thing was good no dents in all my accidents scratches and chips only, also pretty light slightly heavier than my dolan but still.
I think second hand there are better vintage steel frames out there
The thing is that many beginners buy tsunami and you don’t know the state of the frameset
Yes there’s that chance with every second hand frameset but specifically with tsunami there’s a great chance that you will encounter more “quirks”
