Rode my fat bike on my daily commute this past week – thought I'd share some photos I managed to get along the way.
I mounted my new Blackburn Outpost Fat Rack – I had a difficult time finding a rack that would fit this bike (2021 Norco Bigfoot 2), but I was able to make it work by flipping the lower mounts around, effectively bringing the rack closer to the seat stay so that the extenders could reach the mounting points.
(I originally purchased a Wren OneRack thinking it would fit because it claimed to be "universal", but the hub spacing on my bike was too wide (197mm).)
Pannier bag is a cheap Roswheel set from Amazon – frame bag is custom from Field & Forest (based in Vancouver, BC (Canada)).
I imagine fat bikes probably aren't perceived as the most practical commuter bike, but I have to admit I have a lot more fun bombing along on my way to work on this than my old hard tail.
