When I roll my bike forward or backward the pedals move with the wheels as if the pawls are not retracting, but it only happens when I fully tighten down the thru axle. Is this a spacer issue? Any ideas

By the squeaky chain I’m guessing maintenance has been scarce. Someone should get in the rear hub and see if freehub bearings are bad or if the freehub just needs to be cleaned/lubed. Hard to diag some things over the Internet.
