How do you know it’s yours?

I mean frame is same kind that you had, but every single component has been changed.

  2. What makes you think that‘s the same bike?

Different wheels, tires, fenders, racks, crankset, saddle, seatpost, handlebar, brakes….

  3. That seems like a lot of work for bike thieves to do, I really doubt it’s the same bike. What makes you think it is?

  4. Sorry your bike got stolen, as others said that’s crazy different, everything but the frame.

Regardless I wanted to comment that homemade E-bike conversions are absolute trash, and to please not do them. The number of these kinds of kits that have non-replacable batteries, or faulty electronics, or battery fires is way too many. I work in an e bike specialist shop, and it’s best left to professionals or just buy a new e bike.

So yeah, to everyone saying it’s completely different. I agree, but it’s in the small details. 1: he forgot to take the clamps of the fork that i used for the pizza rack. 2: he used my hub axles 3: he used my seatclamp 4: I recognize the scratches I made. 5: it’s a size of the Trek 830 XC that you don’t almost don’t see. This is the first one I see in more than a year. And trust me, I’ve been Sherlock Holming the internet quite a bit because of this bike..

But yeah, my guess is that this seller just bought the frame, fork and maybe some other parts.

Still miss the bike tho, it rode so perfect in the end..
