







After my last post about my rim failure cause a fair amount of comments. And some rather interesting ones at that. (I know it's need cleaning but I use it nearly everyday rain or shine)
Well it's back on the road. We have new wheels, tires, chain, crank and bearings, shifter, mudguards, seatpost sleeve and the retaing lock of the rear triangle.

Nice, congrats!
Did you replace the rear brake pads? Just replaced my rear rim and I saw that the ‘old’ brake pads only touched the middle part of the rim, meaning their surface was not flat anymore.
Btw, that SA chain looks like it’s hanging a bit too loose even if it is 3rd gear.
Bike looking top again and ready for a lot more years.
