  1. My suggestion is using a cycling-focused route planner. I planned my first rides with Google Maps as well, and sometimes you just end up in weird places 🙂

    I’d recommend Komoot for this.

Due to how far the route is zoomed out on the map, I can’t really see which roads you’re taking. But just in case you just went with Google Maps routes from place to place, and you might want to use a more scenic route than following the cycle paths next to N-roads, there is this website that leads you past all the small roads and cycle paths you’d want:

    https://www.fietsknoop.nl/fietsroute-planner

At every “knooppunt” you will find a sign with a local map on it, so you can decide there and then which direction you want to go next, and you just follow the directions on the side of the road to the next number/knooppunt.

Of course, if you already knew that, or if you prefer to cycle the N-roads, then … ignore me 🙂

  3. That will be a great ride, but expect a lack of bike paths in Belgium. Desert route from Arnhem will be great.
