Day seven of bike packing around the perimeter of Britain most of the time fundraising for Movember and I felt so much better after a rest day. So I left Edinburgh with Sam and Chris and this is the fourth bridge or the fourth bridges I should say. Uh I wanted to highlight this because it’s one of the most common places where people choose to take their own life in the UK which is heartbreaking. There were loads of jellyfish in the water. We posed for a little photo as well. And then we crossed the bridge over the the river basically to head towards Dundee. And this is the bridge that goes into Dundee. Uh Jake led me in. We had a bit of a downpour going over here and but it was a tailwind, so it was surprisingly fast, which is quite good, but the blue skies looked like it was going to clear. Dundy has a VNA and I really want to visit and I’m pretty gutted that I didn’t actually spend some time here to go and visit, but I’ll be back. And then Mana Coffee, this incredible place, they very kindly gave me some food and yeah, bought some of them. They even had the pulp orina, which you can only normally find in Spain. So, thank you very much, Mana. Great croissants. Uh, then leaving Dundee, there’s this incredible cycle lane which basically runs kind of next to the road and it’s completely traffic free and the surface is fantastic as you can see. And you sort of ride along next to the corn fields that basically look out onto the coast, which is pretty spectacular. It’s really probably a beautiful day. And then I ran out of water, so pulled over to get some water. But then the next nice surprise was seeing an old Zero Lemon jersey out in the wild. Again, we’re always cool to see some of the old designs. And as we then sort of continued on the route, we came to a place called Stone Haven, which is a really stunning little town. That’s a little monument you can see in the distance. And I of course haded to add some stickers onto the sign. Yeah, beautiful. Anyway, 210 odd kilm done for the day. Felt much better after a rest day. Thanks for watching this update and I’ll see you for the next one. [Music]

  1. Well done Chris. It is easier to forget what a challenge this is. All the things you've achieved to get to this point are amazing, well done. Plus that 🥐 as big as you hand!
