










My second multi-day bike trip. Started in Dresden, wanted to go all the way to Prague but felt kinda tired plus it was raining a little so I decided to cut it short. How do you guys manage a 100km per day? After 50 i got to the hostels and had to go straight to sleep for a couple hours. Very humbling experience, definitely will have to train more. In general nice trip though. Only will have to improve my bag situation – the bags keep falling on the wheels – not sure if its because the bike is rather small (size S), or if im just packing incorrectly. Any advice?

You are not giving any details about your bike setup nor your fitness condition. To do 100 a day in a trip you should be able to do such distances before hand as well or at least lets say 80% of it. When i travel I usually make several small stops every one or two hours including one big stop for lunch. Also, eating on the way some snacks is important including drinking water.
By the way we are traveling from Dresden to Prague this Saturday with my 8yo daughter ). We will be doing about 40ish km a day.
