this is everything I ate at the Christmas markets in colart and Strasburg I’m in the alas region of France which is right next to the German border so a lot of the food here Blends both cultures first up I got an $18 TP flambe which is one of my favorite things I tried in colar it had a super thin and crispy crust topped with Creme Fresh onions and bacon it was so delicious I just loved how it felt so light next I hopped on a moving Carousel Bar and grabbed a $7 hot chocolate it’s like sipping a warm hug it’s so creamy and sweet and how cute is this boot mug I kept it for $11 I also tried this $21 a classic house station dish which had heaps of sauerkraut the sausage had a satisfying snap and juiciness I just wish it was more to balance everything out now moving on to Strasburg which is also known as the capital of Christmas I couldn’t resist getting this massive $33 pork knuckle with potatoes the skin was gelatinous and fatty and the meat was tender I think it was slow cooked in wine the texture was amazing but the flavors were quite mild then I got this $20 Reet sausage I love how they add cheese to everything here the sausage was wonderfully Smoky and the cheese made it extra hearty for something sweet I grabbed an $8 Nutella crepe which had a lovely soft and bouncy texture and of course I had to get an $8 mild wine I got the white one this time and I actually prefer it over the red because it’s lighter and fruer it really warms you up and finally I got an $8 chocolate pretzel which is a beignet pretzel it’s more dense than fluffy I do prefer lighter desserts but it’s still a nice treat

  1. The culture is not similar because it is neae the border, but because it belonged to germany for almost all of its history, still rightfully belongs to it, and the people are ethnically german.
