What’s the usual procedure for making this mire usable again? (It’s too easy to put in the front wheel misaligned)

Back in the day I fixed a worn/chipped dropout like this by adding some JB Weld and shaping/sanding it down.
I’ve just put a lock washer each side and don’t look back. It works first time and you can remove wheel and mount back for flat fix no problem, if you don’t lose them or have spares.
