  1. Haha, I bought the same bike a few weeks ago.
    So far i’m loving it and it shreds through traffic in the city!

    What I did, i swapped the handlebar for a drop down bar, and that’s about it.

    Get yourself some Boshield and coat the inside of that frame. Otherwise it starts to eat itself from the rust. You can end up with unusable BB threads.

    Had an almost identical bike with bull horns that I used to use as a commuter… I put a Brooke saddle on it. That was probably worth more than the rest of the bike combined… Made for a fantastic commuter though. Could take a beating but never let me down

    I love it. Bar looks great. Recently got a used elops 500 in white and at consider this as well.

  5. Single speed wins for commuting – if the landscape plays along. It’s a nice, no-nonsense bike, but what’s missing to make a proper commuter in my eyes is dynamo lights and mudguards. Not sure if there’s enough space on that frame to use mudguards with this tire size though.
