  1. First bump will see the rest hitting the tyre. Won’t end well. That pannier rack isn’t going to take much punishment with that attachment

  2. Yeah! godspeed!

If your budget allows it, get stembags / food pouches to install on your handlebars, those are very handy and versatile, on big trips I usually put my water bidons in them.

As another user said, I think that the drybag is not so well strapped. try to get some lashing straps (either fancy as voile straps or the good old black polyester straps with a metal buckle).

Elastic straps like this are inconvenient (the elasticity does not plays well with bumps and all the handling of a bike trip), and are borderline dangerous – I nearly got one in the eye and got one one the face (when improperly secured or when finalizing the strapping).

Where will you put your water bidons? How much will you need ? (will you cook? will the weather be hot ?) Really important question!

Most importantly, do test rides, fully loaded, on the closest conditions you’ll met (roads, degraded roads, country paths with tractor tires trenches, gravel more or less rocky).

Nice Origine bike, by the way!

    I absolutely love this.

Just get out and ride your bike energy. It’s all you need at the end of the day.
