Way too much
Leftover new models are listed for 1600-1700. So that price is not great for used. I’d get him down to 1200 or less
I always laugh when I see years-old carbon bikes and people are trying to sell for a small discount from the original MSRP.
Offer them $800. It’s a tiny bike that will hang in the garage for years if they want $1500.
Is it the right size for you as well ? 47 cm is for like people 5 ft and under
BMC frame warranty is 3 years on production of original receipt. If they bought it in 2023 or don’t have the receipt, basically new means nothing. It’s a nice bike, but I’d expect to pay that price for a “new” 2022 bike from a shop with a full warranty. It’s also a difficult sell in that size (maybe perfect for you, but you’d be smaller than the average bear).
Make an offer for $900-1000. That’s a fair price for this bike, IMO.

Looks like a nice bike and fair price. Buycycle offers the cheapest shipping, at least in the US, compared to ebay. You can offer less and negotiate with seller. It’s not an auction.
