I am getting into cargo biking and this would be my first one. I tested Tarran T1 Pro months ago but I didnt get it then. Because I have got a lot to learn about bikes and was originally going to wait until I felt more informed but this one feels like the right fit. Just not sure if I’m rushing into it? It is definitely a big investment.
Features that stood out to me:
It has landing gear. In stop and go situation, you tap a button and they deploy and lock into place, balancing the bike. When you are ready to ride, they can be retracted.
Comes with built in anti-theft like instant phone alerts and automatic camera recording. If the bike is taken, I can remotely lock the motor and track its location in real time through the app.
It has a millimeter wave radar mounted at the back. If a car is coming up too fast or too close from the back, the bike warns you through handlebar vibrations and the central display also shows a visual alert.
I have three kids and most cargo bikes I have seen can safely carry two kids in this price range. This has a front box that can hold two kids (max 65kg combined) and they offer a rear rack to add a third seat (child + seat = 27.5kg). I am sure my 3 year old can easily sit on it.
But my wife is a bit skeptical because we can’t find many real user reviews since they have just started delivering. Do you feel like the tech and features justify the €6999 price tag, especially for a newer brand? Because this is my first bike purchase and I dont want to make a mistake that I will end up regretting later.

I would not buy a bike with this many proprietary parts from a new manufacturer. Look up what happened with the Vanmoof fiasco, they finally got bought out but their reputation is garbage now. What happens when one of the fancy electronic gizmos stop working? What happens when the company goes belly up and you need a proprietary part?
Cargo bikes and new brands are not a good mix at the moment. The market has expanded considerably and a lot of shit is getting sold, so I could never recommend being among the first buyers to get a new model. Usually 3-wheeled models will be able to carry up to 4 kids and there are brands that have been around for enough time to warrant some trust in their durability. E-cargos have massive issues with maintenance from brands that cheap out on drivetrain parts and motor components, so having this feedback is vital.
Get a trailer (there are so many choices available, cargo, child seat, dog crate, etc) and an electric bike with a powerful motor. No cargo bike should be this expensive.
