  1. My favorite family of folks to virtually hangout with 😊! Sarah was absolutely right, tagging along with you to get a feel for your town's sardine festival was the real deal kind of evening-in-the-life content πŸ‘πŸΌ!

It was great to hear you in stitches with Zach and Jenny. You and Zach always have me crying πŸ˜‚.

Aren't ebikes amazing? I love bourgeois bikes with electric throttles & motors 😁. They're a natural pairing with solar powering banks and earth-friendly mobility. Eleglide seems very well priced, looks good, and performs well (i've enjoyed watching vid of Alex of Quinta Font da Pipa on long rides). If i get to live out your way, i will certainly look to have an Eleglide. I want one here in my hilly city! Replacing the battery is the most expensive part of ebike maintenance. Please sure to keep your battery charged πŸ––πŸΌπŸ˜‰β£

The music that came on as the drone followed your ride was a great match… it conveyed a reconnection to the joy felt from the freedom? of the ride. And then the music made me think i was watching a Spielberg film πŸ˜„. You guys are getting quite good with your productions, eh?

Excellent review. So good that you pointed out the delay with the motor stopping. That's a key thing to watch out for!

Protect your brain: please wear well-fitted helmets when you ride, er, glide… Eleglide πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈ. 😎

Also, fingertip-less bike gloves offer padded palms — for me, the pads softened vibrations to the hands with traditional torqueless bike handles BUT were even MORE protective on occasions that my palms met pavement ["Look Ma, no holes πŸ™ŒπŸΌ!"]. Knee pads or knee/shin guards? elbow guards? padded bike shorts (your tenders will thank you πŸ˜„)? I appreciated when my sport shoes gripped the pedals well; sliding off pedals is no bueno.

And thanks for romping kitty footage 😍. Loved how Scabby Tabby wanted to check out what you were up to 😊.

  2. I would hae loved to see you assemble the bike instead of the expert. That would have ment that if you could have managed everybody can manage. Now it seems to difficult for me.

  3. Try the power up mode and on switch at the same time to turn the light on. If that doesn’t work it might be a variant of two of the three buttons. Electric bikes are fab I have a Rad rhino fat wheel bike fantastic!

  4. O boy did I enjoy this video I haven’t laughed so much in a long while you getting so excited over a bike and Zack having to read the instructions, and you cycling on the wrong side of that road.enjoy your future bike rides.

  5. Was this a how-to video or a what not to do video πŸ˜‚Just kidding. Zac is no different than me, I'll pass on the directions every time. The whole situation had me rolling. I really enjoy when you all get together. I was on Eleglide's website and noticed they have a couple of different bike packages. I really liked the Trek model with the accessory rack. It would be great for hauling some groceries or a small cooler for a picnic. I think we need to twist Eliglide's arm to get Sarah an e-bike. You two could make some great tour videos. Thanks for the great video!

  6. Boys… RTFM. Since it's a few years since the chopper. Lol. I seen on one review that the braking system is reversed compare to the UK. Ie right for rear left for front ? or is it the other way around. To reverse just swap the cables. Esp if visitors from the UK. How's the fruit picker. Good review. Good comment on the safety and security. Maybe swap the bell for a honker. Enjoy.

  7. Hi Nick, I love your bike. When I retired to Castlemaine I knew I would need something to get around on I had two conventional bikes, one a mountain bike and the other a Peugot touring bike. on which I had already ridden many kms. Castlemaine however has a a lot hills and my knees were worn out. So I bought a petrol motored bike with a throttle I rode that until October 2018 when it was obvious that the motor was wearing out and could not be repaired . At least without incurring great expense (almost the price of a new electric one). So I bought a new eletric one which I rode for about six months before I had my right knee replaced (the left was done 2013). The electric bike handled very differently to my much loved petrol one. The motor comes on only when you pedal and as you say the power it generates stays on longer than is sometimes required, which lead to me falling off three times and several very near misses. After the operation I felt my right knee did not recover as well ie the rotation was very stiff so have not dared to ride it again, sadly I miss the independance the bikes gave me but so be it. The only problem for me with your bike is that is, what is known as a Safety bike (or mans) design ie that the cross bar is too high, I got what is know as a step through (womans). I cannot lift my legs high enough. Had fun on my recently holiday, a camel trek in outback South Australia, had to be helped on and off. I hope you can get another bike for Sarah as it is a very enjoyable past time and more so with a friend or partner. Cheers from freezing Australia, Hope the bushfires are now where near you and you are coping with the European heatwave. Lana

  8. Blimey, not another channel in Portugal selling out to the lowest bidder? Expected better from a channel that constantly tells us all how evil capitalism is. Suddenly 'we are only just trying to make ends meet' while holidaying in our second home in Portugal.

    Leave off!!!!

  9. Cool bike Buddy! During the drone footage I thought you'd fly away like Eliot on ET lol. Wanting the headlight to work may I suggest reading the instructions?!!! I know us guys don't usually bit I myself have learned the hard way to read it. Lmao. I'm a smartass sorry 😞lol πŸ˜†

  10. We're hoping to move to Portugal in a couple of years however more importantly our condolences to you all – Take care. Zac will be missed and we are very sad πŸ™

  11. A happy video memory for you to cherish, I'm so very sorry Zac is no longer with us & my condolences to Ginny & all your family on the loss of such a lovely man. RIP Zac, you were one in a million.

  12. Ginny and children, you, and Zac's and your respective families continue to be in my thoughts and also my prayers. For strength to see you through this sad time. Such a sad and tragic loss of a lovely man, who I never met but felt I knew. With his wit, humour and can do attitude, he brought a delightful freshness to YouTube that I really resonated with. Going forward, cocktails will always remind me of him. Again, I express my deepest condolences

  13. Rest in peace Zac. You were a super human being and we're better for having connected with you on here. Condolences Ginny, Nick and all who loved him.

  14. Thx for recording the other video for Ginny Nick, it can’t have been easy. You, Ginny and the family are in our thoughts and prayers. ❀️ John & Sylvia, Guelph, Canada

  15. So very sad πŸ˜” I was in tears hearing of the loss of zac, he seemed so nice, you're final episode on his channel done him proud, I then watched this video, made me giggle, thinking of you all πŸ’”

  16. How strange that I have never met Zac but feel as if I knew him. I have watched him and Ginny on their journey and whatever happens in the future I wish Ginny peace of mind and Zac you will never be forgotten.

  17. These ebikes should be seen as a cross between scooter and motorbike….to powerful for using on uneven, obstacle laden farm tracks unless you are a mountain biker.
Did Zac have a bike accident?

  18. I have had Ginny in my thoughts and prayers all week since I heard of Zac’s passing. So sorry for this sudden loss of such a great person.

  19. Im here thinking that from what ive seen from uk, i realky apreciate your country as much as yoh apreciate mine. Maybe we both dont see the downfalls πŸ˜‚or we ve been born in the wrong country??!! 🀨?

  20. he was such a lovely guy…ill miss his humour and good nature..i was binge watching all their videos on a road trip to hungary when i got the news…rest in peace zac you will be missed
