After 21,000 miles/ 33,000 km, I decided to "modernize" my first competitive race bike. It originally came with externally routed cables (from frame to handlebars) and I modified the fork to route the cables completely. All carbon work was done by me and structural integrity verified by a local carbon repair shop. This was a fun project! With the help of the Vision ACR one piece bar/stem the bike looks much cleaner now. 😊
Now used as my commuter and general training bike but still UCI legal (2026) should I want to race it next season.

A “workhorse” bicycle would be a bike with a trailer attached to the back; this is a “racehorse,” another category.
Looks incredible!
So you basically drilled the steerer tube?
Awesome bike. I really adore your taste! It is really pretty! 🙂
Amazing bike and I love that you did that fork modification. The only thing I’d do to it would be fit some bar ends, you don’t want to land on an open ended tube like that!
