I ordered new pads (3ed pic) but I’m thinking of replacing the brakes entirely. I can’t run front brakes so any quality suggestions would be extremely appreciated.

Shimano DXR is a great rear v-brake
I’d start with a new cable and housing on the brake you have there. That cable is toast.
