Started biking in earnest in the last 2 years. Was riding a 2nd hand 2017 Raleigh Merit 1 for the last 18 months or so – wanted to clock 1k kilometres on it before investing in something more long term.
Finally pulled the trigger on this beauty yesterday. It was down to this vs the Trek Domane. Considered buying used but got tempted by the sale on this and said to heck with it.
What an enormous, amazing, difference between this and my last bike. Night and day, I’m just real thrilled and excited for the rides ahead.
