  3. You can't stop chain slip if you front sprockets are worn out, which is usually the first thing that happens. You have to replace it or them if all are worn out. Even though a new front sprocket system is new it won't help if your rear sprockets are worn out and the derailer will not solve the problem what so ever. The solution ? Shorten the chain to go around the 3rd or 4th rear sprocket then around the smallest or mid sprocket on the front make sure the chain is tight but not too tight, oil as usual. This fix can allow the use of warn out sprockets front and back for over 3 years of everyday use beyond 10 miles a day. Make sure the chain is inline straight between both chosen sprockets. Very sprocket use as needed for torque or speed. This fix tested for 3 years of everyday use up to 10 miles per day with no fail.
