Hubs came from two different sources and are equally smooth after all these years, love the quality of the (old) Suntour stuff

Really nice! Building wheels is incredibly satisfying. You get exactly what you want.

I tend to value good wheels and tyres over drive-train and frame because the former make a difference all the time you are moving and the latter only when you are moving and pedaling.
I love the idea of building my own wheels but could never justify the investment in the tool to manage the dish of the rear wheel.
What spokes did you use?

Cool combo! I’ve never used Suntour Superbe myself but have heard it’s the bees knees.
