I spent a night alone deep in the mountains of Bosnia. No plans, no backup just a hammock, a backpack, and the forest. I didn’t go looking for anything specific, but what I found stayed with me.
I left my IT job to chase something real.
No sponsors. No comfort. Just me, my camera, and the road.
I’m documenting the raw side of solo travel—sleeping in hammocks, getting lost in random places, connecting with people who don’t speak my language, and embracing silence as much as chaos. This isn’t about luxury or picture perfect edits. It’s about the truth behind movement what it costs, what it teaches, and what it gives back.
I’m drawn to moments that feel like deja vu scenes I once saw in a game, a film, or a half-forgotten dream and now I recreate them in real life. That’s what drives me.

Not really (lying) So I ask the lady who lives here if there’s any bears And she told me yes there is Yo guys, well let me tell you what’s about to happen. Because this is the first time that I’m exploring with my video Bosnia, my country. And we will try to get lost. I will try to show you the beauty of Bosnia. To be honest, I’m not gonna use any of the exact routes or marks that I would follow, but I’m just gonna go blindly. I mean not exactly blindly, but I’m just gonna try to estimate my path. Because that way I can just explore around and not worry about getting lost or something. Because as I always say, you cannot get lost if you’re already lost. I gotta tell you when I compare this nature to other cities, other countries, it’s really, really unbelievable. I’ve seen similar paths in Spain, Galicia to be exact. I only have two of these battles. The reason of that is why I decided to carry just one liter of water. Because we have many springs on the road. We should have something called Hajr Cesma , which is actually made for the people that passed away. And that’s the spring of water. So this is the path where I have to use my map. And I’m a bit of… I’m not really going the right way towards the city that I was planning on going to. So this is a cave here. I’m not gonna try to enter it. So one part of the way is finished. it’s like a small hiking path, but right now I’m trying to figure out how to go towards the which is a river. And this is my next destination, but I’m not sure how to go there from here. Because most of the people just use a car. I don’t want to use the main roads. Because from here it would take me a bit longer. And I would have to walk near the cars and stuff. That’s never honestly interesting. That’s really bad if you can avoid it. It’s better to avoid. It could be an idea if I tried going with this. Like, what the hell? It’s just steep. Does it ever get flat? Hopefully after this hill, this thing. It will be flat. Fuck it isn’t. It’s steep again. Let me rest for a second. Pretty close. It should take me like maybe 20 minutes, hopefully. I’m going to recover here for a bit. And I should be going that way, I believe. Yeah, I’m not sure even what it is. But you see, it’s only like… I haven’t done that many kilometers. But it was all like up straight. Because it’s for a biking, you know. Welcome to the longest zipline in Bosnia. Now let’s easily look for a place to camp. You know, I could easily sleep here. Right now it’s really good. I’m relaxed, you know, everything is flat pretty much. And the sun isn’t that strong. So I asked the lady who lives here if there’s any bears, any other animals. And she told me yes, there is. Down where the lake is. But… Yeah. But I think I’ll be fine if I stay just like… Somewhere here in the beginning. But I have to find the spot quickly. So I figured probably gonna do it here. The only thing is… This electricity can make a problem. Now I have to climb this. Without being noticed, you know. Because if people see you doing those kind of things, they’ll think you’re a lunatic or something. I mean, it’s not far from the truth. But… I would like to have peace of mind. Yeah. So I need two trees here. Give me a moment. Well, the main struggle so far has been setting up the hammock. Because of the surface, it’s not really climbable. And I just twisted my ankle. But hopefully… Yeah, I twisted it real bad. But hopefully it’s gonna be alright. Hopefully it’s not that the adrenaline is just keeping me up. So yeah. The main problem is that I came a bit early. And… Yeah, there’s too many people here. I made a mistake but I can’t make it here. Near this house. You know, because I had a perfect spot down below. Where nobody would be able to see me and… You know, because these people are just making me paranoid. Because I’m not scared of animals at the moment. Because, I mean, there’s not gonna be anything. In the worst case scenario, it’s gonna be a rabbit or something like that. You know, if people notice you, it’s gonna be… You could raise a suspicious activity. They could be like “what the fuck is this guy doing? Is he gonna blow us up?” But… Yeah, I’m gonna chill out here for a bit more. I’m gonna wait for the sun to come down. And… I gotta blow this up. The mattress. I think that I won’t be needing the… What’s it called? I don’t think that I’ll need a sleeping bag. But I have it, just in case. But it really shouldn’t be cold. Nah. Hell nah. I’m so freaked out that I’ll be seen. Nah, you can’t see this. Even if you try looking… Oh, I see it from here. It’s still though, you’d have to really look for it in order to see it. Otherwise it’s a nice spot. Let me tell you a story about this place though. When I was a young kid, I came in with my school. They organized a trip or something. And this was the place where we were sleeping. I think this one. And this was the club thing. Like for children, you know. Like going crazy and stuff. We had Halloween or something like that. Just dressing up like core memories. And one crazy guy, he used to go to our class with us. He drew a cross here. And I don’t know, he was supposed to be some satanic shit. I don’t know. And he was creeping out people like children. We were all freaked out about it. And now, what is it like 20 years later? No, not 20. 15. Like 15 years later, I’m sleeping above there. So guys, this is my camp. You guys, so I’m waiting for the dark to come down. This place is really nice so far. The only thing is, the houses are below. And I can hear voices from the people, you know, and stuff. I’m not sure if somebody saw me because I heard voices saying in Bosnian language like, “Take your cables” and stuff. I thought he was saying it to me. But, I mean, nothing happened anymore, so I guess I’m fine. The temperature is pretty good. I don’t think that I’ll be needing the sleeping bag, but just in case. So, I will just wait for the dark to settle down and I’ll fall asleep. He won’t stop doing this thing. Something just passed by me and it was breathing shallow. I’m not sure if it was. A hog or something else, but he was breathing kind of shallow. It’s 1am. I’m not sure. How am I going to stay here? I’m freezing. Well, surprisingly, I slept for like four hours, I think. The rest of it I was just jiggling around trying to find my groove, trying to get myself a bit of heat, you know. Because it was really cold. I didn’t expect it to be this cold. It’s even colder this moment. Really cold. Yeah, at one point, that was the only point where I got very spooked, is when I heard those weird, breathing sounds. And it was like a hog or something like that. I wasn’t sure what it was. I’m not sure if I was able to catch it on camera, but it was spooky. It lasted just for like five seconds, literally. I’m lacking. He’s got a weight on me. I think. Such a nice dog. I think it was bad, He decided to scare some people off. Hey. He just pulled up. Fucking kangaroo. No. It’s not a kangaroo, but it’s… Is it a fox? I think it’s a fox. He found a fox. Either it’s pretending to be dead or it’s dead. Yeah, I think it’s pretty much dying. But I think it was under the rock and he pulled it outside. Oh, god. Rest in peace, what can I say? Wow, he’s an explorer. He’s a better explorer than me. Hey, Snoop. Hey, Snoop dog. Yo, he’s so arrogant. He doesn’t want to even give me attention. He’s just ignoring me. *Shepherd telling me they won’t attack me, only dog :/* Snoop, he almost got killed Man, those odds. Fucking huge. That guy was telling me like, “Don’t worry, they won’t be attacking you.” There was like four of them. I don’t know what I recorded, but if I recorded anything… But there were four of them, bro. And three of them were trying to chase him. Fuck. Tell me, are you scared of animals not to attack you? Not really I think you’d rather be attacked by a man This dog chased me as well and in the end I was able to tame him and he sticked with me altough last night, I heard something I’m not sure if it was a hog There’s hogs and they say there’s wolves as well… Have u ever seen any of them?
